Round shapes.
Square blocks.

A circle generator gives you a practical way to approximate a curve on Minecraft’s square grid. Start with the footprint you have space for, choose an outline or a filled disc, and use the row list to place each stretch without counting from a screenshot.

  1. Pick an odd diameter for a single center block, or an even diameter for a center gap.
  2. Mark the center axes, then build a few rows at a time. The top and bottom halves mirror each other.
  3. Use inclusive column ranges: columns 4–9 contain six blocks. Check the material count before collecting blocks.

BEFORE YOU MAKE

Your project questions.

How do I make a circle in Minecraft?

Choose a diameter in blocks, then follow the grid and row placement ranges. Row 1 starts at the top of the plan and columns are numbered from the left. Mark the center first and use the symmetry to build the opposite sides.

Can I generate odd and even circles?

Yes. Diameters from 1 to 256 are supported. Odd diameters have a center block; even diameters have their center between two blocks. The grid marks both center axes.

Can I make an ellipse instead?

Choose Ellipse and enter separate width and height values. The tool calculates a symmetric oval using the same block-center rule.

What does the block count include?

The count is the number of occupied grid cells in the chosen outline or filled disc. One cell is one block. Supports, extra layers, walls above the ring, lighting and decoration are not included.

Why can this circle differ from another generator?

Pixel circles have several valid rounding conventions. This tool selects blocks whose centers fall inside an ellipse, then uses the cells touching the outside in one of four directions for the outline. The method is deterministic and mirror-symmetric; it is not a claim of an official Minecraft circle algorithm.

Can I print or download the plan?

Download the coordinate grid as PNG, save the row placement list as CSV, or open Print / Save PDF. The printable guide includes dimensions, a block count and every row.

Does this work in Java and Bedrock?

Yes. These are manual block-placement coordinates, so the plan does not require a mod, command or particular game edition. Use any suitable block material.

Does it generate a sphere or schematic?

This page creates a two-dimensional circle or ellipse plan. It does not export a schematic or a three-dimensional sphere.
